I am using this book as part of my french studies and its helping a lot

I bought this book to help me with my french studies. The BD format along with Delisle's colloquial writing style make this book easy to digest. I learned a lot about the situation in Burma as well. Great book

A special look at Burma

A French cartoonist accompanied his wife on assignment for Médecins sans Frontières and spent the year working from home, exploring, and taking care of their baby He drew on his everyday experiences to make this cartoon book, in French. It is a simple yet rich account of life in Burma, especially in Yangon but also about Bagan, Lake Inle, monks and generals, Burmese and expatriates. The baby opened a lot of doors for him and the book is a real pleasure.
